I AM HERE

"For where you go I will go..." - Ruth 1:16

Jesus spoke through these words.

For wherever I go - He is there

There are no words to describe other than "I AM HERE."

I am not there, but I am here. Listen to the words I am about to speak

A word cannot describe this

I am stuck, broken bridle, wandering

Even in the worst, even in the best, I am here

I am not okay. Depression hurts. Anxiety rages.

There are lonely days. Dark days. The cloud carries on.

Confusion thunders and shock lightnings

Nothing makes sense, nothing is working, nothing is....

Some do not know the depth of the pain

I wish everyone knew, but it's not meant for everyone

Community and friendship has been a gift from God Almighty

A gift I do not deserve, but receive with all grace

I can show my brokenness, and still be received

Healing remains at the door, a continuous cycle I don't expect

Relentless truth and abundant beauty make room for freedom

One day at a time I breathe, one day at a time I live

For wherever I go - He is there. For whenever I cry, He is there.

For in the deepest depths - He is there. For whenever I question, He is the answer

Though circumstances say otherwise, It's a truth I need to hold onto

So, where am I at? I am not okay, but I am here...and so is Jesus with me.
